Xu Jiaxin recalled, "Back then, our capital was only two million. We took a risk fulfilling an order that no domestic or international equipment factory could complete. Despite the risks of no deposit or order commitment, we proceeded to meet customer demands, ensuring payment upon completion of the task. Eventually, we succeeded, marking Hongteng's formal entry into the semiconductor equipment market." Thus, from a small factory without air conditioning to a 1000-square-meter facility, Hongteng Technology has steadily progressed over 25 years, integrating into the global semiconductor supply chain.

Technically extended machines typically take 3 to 4 months to complete," said Xu Jiaxin, who comes from a research and development background and understands the rapid changes and demands of the semiconductor industry, especially with the current trend towards small-batch, diverse consumer products. "To meet market demands and changes, Horng Terng Technology early on adopted modular technology and project-based management. For machines based on existing technical extensions, Hongteng Technology can complete a new machine in 3 to 4 months. In addition to existing products, over the past three years, we have invested in the research and development of new products. This year, we successfully developed a 3D inspection device, which is currently undergoing customer testing. Developing new products carries high risks, but to establish independent technological cores, continuous investment in R&D is essential. Every year, we also invest in 1 to 2 projects in entirely new fields, collaborating closely with customers in research and development.

This is why Horng Terng Technology, with fewer than one hundred employees, has over 40% of its workforce dedicated to R&D, a rarity in the industry. Our product line has also evolved from 2D vision inspection technology to 3D visual design, and from electromechanical integration to opto-mechatronic software integration, expanding continuously.
